Do a little research before you trim..some blooming bushes need to be trimmed emmediately after blooming and others can be trimmed at any time...I can't tell from the picture what this bush is so I can't help you out...but if you trim at the wrong time you may not see a bloom next year. Good Luck Girl...and by the way that is one gorgeous shrub...
I think it looks nice all wild and free, it looks like it is near a woods outline, if thats the case I would leave it so it would match the uneven surroundings, it might look out of place if it was trimmed..
