Great movies to see!
Eragon:The first chapter in the inheritance trilogy
Here is a movie trailer to give you an idea what its about:
"Before your grandfathers' fathers were born, and even before their fathers, the Dragon Riders were formed. To protect and guard was their mission, and for thousands of years they succeeded. Their prowess in battle was unmatched, for each had the strength of ten men. They were immortal unless blade or poison took them. For good only were their powers used, and under their tutelage tall cities and towers were built out of the living stone. Wealth flowed into the cities of Algaesia, and men prospered."
Call me a kid at heart, but this was an excellent film. I love anything about dragons or fantasy. There are some great battle scenes and awesome special effects as Eragon rides his dragon Sethura over the mountains. The scenery is gorgeous, the ride scenes are thrilling and give you the feeling of wanting to go find a dragon for your very own to ride. If you like fantasy and adventure, this is the film for you.
Night at the Museum
Movie trailer:
"Comedy takes on a life of its own with “Night at the Museum”. This live-action comedy adventure is packed with humor and breathtaking visuals
Comedy genius Ben Stiller stars as Larry Daley, who, despite being down on his luck, believes he’s destined for something big. He accepts a menial job as the nigh-shift watchman at a museum of natural history. During his watch, the museum’s exhibits come to life and our hero gets up close and personal with some of history’s greatest civilizations and most iconic figures, including Roman gladiators, Attila the Hun, Teddy Roosevelt and a T-Rex who insists on playing fetch with one of his own bones. "
This movie was really cute. One you can take the whole family to and all will enjoy. I love Robin Williams who plays Teddy Roosevelt and always makes me laugh. Ben Stiller was Hilarious and they couldn't have picked a better person to play Larry Daley. I really am a kid at heart and prefer to watch feel-good movies that make me happy. I hope you all have an opportunity to see these films this year. They are definitely worth it!

thanks blondie for stoping on my blog.the content of my blog lately expresses my life lately.my sister in law called the other night and told me of a friend of hers she met at her new church.little sister as I call her.had come back home from her moms.and it had been a long visit.she had been sooo stressed out by all the stuff going on there.she said that to the new friend trying to vent.the girl listoned to all she had to say.and then said I know just how you feel.my sister has the same problem your brother has and has made our lives hell.mom and Dad finely had to put her in her own apartment.seems the girl has contraled their lives for a long time.almost dragging the rest of them down with her.so my sister in law said she felt better after talking to the girl.yes it helps to have someone to be able to talk to out side the family.I know I did the right thing by asking hubby to leave.I talk to him once in a while and it shows me I made the right choice.the choice dont make life easyer just a whole lot safer and less stress.I been thinking lately about what a few people I know been telling me.and its true.some times you have to just step back from things and just live.they say that a drowning person will drag you down with them if you get too close.I was drowning once out at one of the lakes near here.and I remembered what they said.and I had to reason with my friend to come close or I would have drowned.she was afaird I would pull her down with me.I said I will just put one hand on your shoulder to help as we swim back in.so she did.thank God or Lucy would have grown up with out a mother or a father. and Anna wouldnt be here at all.it was a week after I had Lucy.so I shouldnt have even been there but I needed to get out for the day and that is what we did.I made choices to that could have been the end for things.but the Lord was faithful.and I know he will be now.Love ya and thanks for the comments.
