Absent Blogger returns! Read all about it!
Now that I have your attention, I will tell you that I have no great excuse for my absenteeism. Although it is summer and I should have a million reasons to stay off the computer, that is honestly not my excuse. I haven't been doing much yard work , laying out in the hot sun, taking the kids swimming or any of those summer activities that we all enjoy. I did go on a little mini-vacation last week, and had a great time visiting family and friends. Vacations never seem long enough and before I knew it we were home and back to the daily grind. At least I like my job and I am eternally grateful for that. I had all these great intentions to post pics of the hubster and Deanna on their birthdays and I have been taking tons of pics of everything to post, but haven't gotten around to it.... but I will soon.
We received great news yesterday. Our nephew, Joshua is in remission from his bout with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Thanks to all of those who have prayed for him and please continue to do so as he will continue to go in for testing and we hope he stays in remission. He has been such a brave boy and he is an inspiration to us all. He has been very positive and he has a very strong faith that has helped him through this. His little brother Aaron is a great kid and has been a great help to Joshua and his parents. They will be coming to visit us at the beginning of August and we are looking forward to it.

hey blondie glad your back.but everyone needs a brake now and then.soooooo glad the little guy is doing much better.I will keep him in my prayers.Isaiah 53 is a good one to stand on for him.it is one I stood on when I was sick with cancer.the Lord healed me.he can heal anyone who believes.if you read it says when Jesus was here He healed them all.it says that in almost every place people brought the sick to him.the only place it says He didnt do much was in His home town.seems they didnt see Him as Jesus.they saw Him as Mary and josephs boy.not the son of God.so you see we have to see Him as He is the hearler.God bless you and yours.mamaleann

Hey Blondie,
Was too bad there was not enough time to visit everyone when you were here. I know how busy a person can get for sure.
We want Micheal to be able to come visit if he has time, but if he can't that is ok too. Don't want to make him feel bad if he doesn't have enough time. Called Chris and the girls won't be able to come until next week or weekend (end of the month) Katelyn is at a camp this week and Amber is with a friend.
The kids and I were able to spend some time together last weekend, just over night and had fun as usual.
I wrote you an email, to get a number to call Micheal. Could you check and see if it came through.
All is dry and hot here at home. Was really glad to hear about Josh. That is a scary situation for such a young person.
Gotta run.
Take care and love ya kid.
Becky
