Happy Birthday Michael! December 5, 2006:)
Mike turned 15 yesterday and I can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing our 10lb. baby home from the hospital. I was in labor for 2 days and had a c-section and was quite unsure about leaving the safety of the hospital and nurses. But, Mike was a great baby and we worked it out between the three of us. He was so chubby and such a content little boy, just ate and slept. He did expect to be fed every two hours at first because he was such a big boy, but always fell asleep directly after and slept most of the time until he was about 4 months old. He did not sleep through the night until after he was two. But we took naps together during the day so I didn't mind. Not much has changed since then, except he has grown much taller. He is still such a laid back, content child. He has never been a complainer and is respectful much of the time. He enjoys spending time with us going out to dinner or the movies. He and his dad are always doing things together and I know that in another year he will be too busy with his own friends so we must cherish our time with him. He still gives me lots of hugs and kisses accept now I have to ask for them. I don't mind, though because I always have told my kids you will never be too big or old for a hug and kiss from your mom. I don't know what the future will bring for him, but I hope all his hopes and dreams come true. We celebrated his birthday last Saturday by going out to eat and to the ice rink. We had a blast!
I will post a couple of pics of him tomorrow, so be looking for them. Take care and Merry Christmas everyone!
